Reflections From My True Self

Remembering Who I Really Am

The Impersonal Divine

A new client is coming to see me today, and before she comes, as I do with every client, I sit and contemplate her in sacred space. And I am overcome with a feeling of expansive radiance, with love. I pray to see her fully, in all her luminous beauty, to recognize her fortitude and courage, her power and her joy. My job is to truly see her, and then show her to herself, so that she may leave our meeting feeling inspired and empowered to embrace what she sees, her Self.

In the past week I have been studying Einstein’s relationship to The Divine through Krista Tippet’s Einstein’s God.  His experience of it is an impersonal power of great beauty, that inspires wonder in him. But today, as I contemplate this client and prepare to work for her, I know this: this feeling that has overcome me, this ever-moving, expanding radiance that is unconditional love, this is The Divine at its most personal and immediate.
